Volunteers have manned the Orchid House during the previous summer months although since 2022 this has been in abeyance due to fungal disease in the plant collection meaning the Orchid House is closed.
In the past other volunteers have made costumes related to the Beatrix Potter stories for use when children visit the Hall.
