COMMUNITY AND YOUNG ARTS Volunteer Group
Mission Statement
Members of the Young Arts group are dedicated to enriching the experiences of members of the community, children and young people through the arts.
The volunteer group can offer time, ideas and financial support to develop arts projects in a variety of environments, including schools and other settings that children and young people may access in the Manchester and Trafford area.
We are delighted to announce that Arts Society, Bowdon is to take part in this year’s Art Bytes programme by sponsoring The Willows Primary School, Timperley.
Art Bytes is a national, online, inter school, art competition open to Year 5 and Year 9 in all educational settings. Art Bytes celebrate pupils’ creativity which is proven to boost self-esteem, increase confidence and raise aspirations. Every school has a winner whose work will feature in the virtual gallery exhibition each year.
We look forward to working with The Willows and will keep members updated on their progress.
Money raised at our monthly raffles which take place on lecture day, goes towards our work for Young and Community Arts.
